A family photography session is such a fun addition to your vacation. The Ferry family has been vacationing in coastal Maine for years, always staying with friends and family. This year, with their sweet little girl, Lotto, in tow, they decided to stay at an inn along the coast in Brooklin, Maine.

This moody beach maternity session was my first one back from my own maternity leave! It was a dreary May day in coastal Maine, but that did stop us from creating some magical images for Merry + Hugh before their family of two became a family of three.

Lifestyle photography is about capturing life’s real, raw moments. You and your family don’t live a posed, filtered life, so why would your photos seem that way? My approach to your photo session is all about allowing your family to be who you are and to preserve those moments naturally and authentically. So bring on all of the goofy, weird, and fun moments! This in-home newborn session was such a treat! Not only are the Ftizgerald’s incredibly talented photographers, but their beautiful home holds so much sentimental value to their family’s story. We spent the day documenting the newest chapter of their story, their baby girl Fiona.
