Tree Farm Fall Mini Session
This session is one I have been so excited to write about and share with you! The Le Family are clients that I have gotten to know so well, and I absolutely adore them. My relationship with them started when their oldest babe was in her mama’s belly. Now they are pregnant with baby number 3! I got to shoot their middle boy’s birth, and seeing him about to become a big brother is so exciting. I cannot wait to meet their new addition, especially since they are not finding out about the gender! (my guess is girl!)
I have done several sessions with the Le’s, to the point that their kiddos call me auntie Riah. They are such great clients, and friends, that they sent flowers to Andrew and I for our wedding. I know I have said it before, but this is really the best part of my job! Building meaningful connections with amazing people happens all the time. Not only is it great to have returning clients, but I get to see families growing, which is so special.
This session was done at the Allen Christmas Tree Farm in Gorham last fall. I had 8 families join me for mini sessions and it was so much fun! You all know that I love shooting in different places around Maine, and this was such a good spot. There is just some kind of nostalgia about going to a tree farm, for me at least! The nice difference this time was going before the weather got too cold. Normally you’re bundled up picking a tree and holding on to your hot cocoa for dear life. It was such a warm fall day the day of the mini sessions. Getting to spend time there in the fall was a completely different experience, but just as magical!
If COVID has taught us anything, it’s that a year can fly by without you even realizing it. This has made me so inspired to capture every little moment! I am really looking forward to getting outside this spring and seeing more beautiful places around Maine. Especially now that the pandemic is calming down and I have my own little babe. Hiking has always been a passion of mine, so you can expect us to be doing that in our spare time with Kaylie. I can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces for sessions over the next year!
