This is the fun age where they are finally starting to show their own personality. One day when you are looking back at these photos, you will not believe how quickly your baby changed!

Kaylie Drew Clemons entered this world and our hearts just 42 minutes into January 3rd, 2021. I woke up in the middle of the night on the 2nd with minor contractions. I was 38 weeks and 1 day, and this was the first sign I had of any labor.

When I’m planning a session with my clients, it’s always a collaboration on where to shoot. Originally, we had intended to photograph a “golden hour” family session at Ferry Beach. Because it was such a beautiful summer night, the beach was packed. We ended up at this location down the road from Mom’s parent’s house!

It is such an honor to be invited into a clients home to capture such an important moment in their lives and I am forever grateful to have the chance to do so. It is by far a favorite part of being a Maine newborn photographer.  I loved working with these three (plus the pup!) in their cozy home.
