In Home Newborn Session - The Villegas Family

THIS IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSION WAS A GREAT REMINDER OF THE IMPORTANCE OF CAPTURING YOUR LIFE IN THE CURRENT MOMENT! WE SPENT THE DAY DOCUMENTING THE NEWEST CHAPTER OF THE VILLEGAS STORY, THEIR BABY GIRL MARINA AND TALKING ABOUT WHAT THE FUTURE LOOKS LIKE FOR THEM IN THEIR NEW HOME.

The Villegas family found my little corner of the internet through Google and I am so glad that they did! We had so much fun during their in-home newborn session in their recently purchased home in Scarborough, Maine where they will raise their daughter, sweet little Marina.

The Villegas Family moved into their new home 6 months ago. During their session we talked about some of the home renovations that they have planned and I know will just add to this already charming old home. I can’t wait to see the changes in the years to come as they complete their renovations.

Cassie and Josh are incredibly talented creatives. Cassie is a graphic designer and Josh is an extremely talented furniture builder. As a photographer you know I had to capture images with them and a chair that he built. I can’t help but think about all of the memories their family will make that will involve a chair that he poured his heart and soul into making.

Looking at these beautiful images of the Villegas Family in their new home with the newest addition to their family  made me think about how important in-home sessions are to capture. Your home is the place you’ll remember your family being together through all the phases of your life. 

We did the session when Marina was just a few weeks old! Cassie and Josh wanted to capture her while she was still so tiny.
